Timages 2011 Top Ten

2011 was a big year for Timages Gallery what with the launch of this website and forays into social media to promote it and my photography more generally.  I want to thank everyone who visited Timages Gallery in 2011.  Your encouragement was instrumental in making 2011 an important one for me and my growth as a photographer.  As the end of the year fast approaches I decided to review my 2011 images to select the ten best images in my gallery this year. The 10 images I selected were all shot in 2011 and represent my personal favorites from among the thousands I took this year.  Some of the images selected for inclusion in the top ten have enjoyed popular appeal on this site, Flickr, Facebook or Photo.net.  Hopefully you will find one or more of your favorites in this selection too.  But I must admit that each is here because they appeal to me for creative, technical and/or personal reasons – whether or not they attracted much attention from others.  Happily for me, most of my personal selections also had popular appeal.

This was tough and many of my favorites had to be sacrificed to get it down to just my 10 favorites.  So – here are my picks for the best of 2011.  I’d love to learn what would have made it into your top pick list so feel free to include them in a comment to this post.

Well, if you counted you’ll know I couldn’t get my selections down to 10.  I threw in 2 bonus shots!  Let me know what you think and which shots you think should have been included but didn’t make it.
